1. Services Description

EasyCatch (https://easycatch.org/) is a local-first web clipper and AI data gateway Chrome extension that converts webpage content into clean Markdown or downloads product assets. We provide both a Free tier and a Paid (Pro) tier.

2. License and Usage

• Free Tier: Users are allowed up to 5 web captures per day. Usage data is stored locally in your browser's chrome.storage.local and resets daily.
• Pro Tier: Users who purchase a Pro subscription receive a License Key. Activating the License Key unlocks unlimited captures.
• One Pro License Key is valid for activation on up to 5 devices owned by the same user. Unauthorized sharing of License Keys is strictly prohibited.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

All subscription payments are processed securely through our Merchant of Record partners, including Paddle, Waffo, and Creem.

• By purchasing, you authorize our payment partners to charge your selected payment method automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing partner's customer portal or by contacting us.
• We do not store or have access to your full credit card details.
• Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for card payments: it processes your transaction, collects sales tax and VAT where applicable, and issues your receipt. EasyCatch never holds or directly handles your funds.

4. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for all first-time Pro purchases. A full refund is processed securely by Paddle as our Merchant of Record — no questions asked within the guarantee window. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. Limitation of Liability

EasyCatch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Since all processing occurs locally in your browser, you are solely responsible for the web data you capture and integrate into your own systems (via webhooks, Lark, Obsidian, or MCP).

6. Acceptable Use Policy

By using EasyCatch, you agree not to:

• Use the extension to scrape or capture content from websites that explicitly prohibit automated access in their robots.txt or Terms of Service, where such prohibition is legally enforceable.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense your Pro License Key to third parties beyond the 5-device personal-use allowance.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the extension's source code except as expressly permitted by applicable open-source licenses for any public components.
• Use EasyCatch to capture, store, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Bypass or attempt to bypass the daily capture limit on the Free tier through automated scripts, multiple browser profiles, or other circumvention methods.
• Use the webhook or MCP server features to build a competing service that repackages EasyCatch's extraction engine as a standalone API or SaaS product.

7. Intellectual Property

EasyCatch, the EasyCatch logo, and all associated branding are the exclusive intellectual property of EasyCatch. The extension's code, documentation, and website content are protected by copyright law. The extension name and icon are protected as trademarks.

Content that you capture using EasyCatch remains your intellectual property. EasyCatch claims no ownership, license, or interest in the web content, product data, images, or text that you extract. Because all processing is local-first, we have no access to assert any claim over your captured content.

8. Plan Comparison & Feature Availability

The table below summarizes the feature differences between Free and Pro tiers. Features are subject to change; we will update this page and notify active users of material changes at least 14 days in advance.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to EasyCatch Pro for users who violate these Terms, including but not limited to unauthorized license sharing, reverse engineering, or use of the extension for illegal purposes.

You may terminate your Pro subscription at any time through your payment processor's customer portal. Upon cancellation, your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing cycles, except as described in our Refund Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active Pro subscribers and through an update notice in the extension. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of EasyCatch after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
